Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology , Orthok , also known as Night Lenses.
Orthokeratology , Orthok , also known as Night Lenses. It has been approved by the FDA as a safe and reversible method of vision correction using specially designed rigid gas permeable contact lenses to gently shape the cornea, the front transparent part of the eye, to correct low-moderate levels of myopia and astigmatism.
The lenses are typically worn overnight during sleep and gently reduce the power of the cornea. When the lenses are removed in the morning, the cornea retains its reshaped form all day, allowing the wearer to see clearly without glasses or contact lenses during the day.
CLEAR VISION, ALL DAY-NO LENSES, NO LIMITS
Orthokeratology
Orthok is considered safe when properly prescribed, fitted, and monitored by an experienced eye care professional. The risk for serious complications is very low and it is similar to wearing soft monthly contact lenses on a daily basis.
Modern Orthok lenses are made from highly oxygen-permeable materials, reducing the risk of corneal hypoxia, which can happen if the cornea is deprived of oxygen for extended periods.
Orthok is not suitable for everyone. Proper screening of candidates, especially those with corneal diseases or dry eye issues, ensures safety and efficacy.
Sustainability for Orthok
- Myopia up to -7.00

Myopia Control with Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology has been shown to slow down myopia progression in children reducing the long-term risks associated with high myopia later in life. Apart from this, orthok offers freedom from glasses or daytime contact lenses so they can enjoy their daily activites. Children feel more confident without glasses while maintaining safety and comfort.
Being at the forefront of such a specialised field, places our practice as a reference point for both patients and colleagues. This not only reflects the quality of eyecare we provide but also highlights our commitment for continued education and training in the field of Orthokeratology.
